Magellan Laboratories To Get New High Resolution NMR

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC - Magellan Laboratories, a full-service GLP/GMP pharmaceutical contract development organization serving the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries, is proud to announce the addition of a new research-grade Varian UnityInova 500 MHz High Resolution NMR.

The addition of this equipment gives Magellan Laboratories extensive NMR capabilities including:

• LC-NMR
• Any magnetically active nucleus
• Variable temperature unit (-1500C to +1500C)
• Sample Management System for running routine samples in automation
• Most modern 1D and 2D experiments
• Pulsed field gradients

The NMR can easily be upgraded for protein, microimaging and N-dimensional applications. The NMR will be located at the Magellan Facility in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina in Magellan's state-of-the-art Physical Organic Chemistry Laboratory.
